Dear Neighbor, I understand that you're way older than me and your first child is almost my age and it seems odd for me to say that I like you but understand that age is just a concept of time and what is really important is how you and I feel about each other. I understand that you've had a lot of experience that I cannot even begin to imagine what you've been through and what you've learned along the way, but I'm willing to try and understand all you've been through. I was telling your oldest daughter how I feel about you the other day and her response was "my mom grew up in different generation compared to ours and if she decides to date you, I wonder what you guys will be talking about and even if you both will find the same experiences fun?" Please consider you and I being friends for a little while at least let us get to known each other before you make up your mind.
