“Dear Father, I had wanted to tell you this for decades, ever since I was 13. Just earl…”
Dear Father, I had wanted to tell you this for decades, ever since I was 13. Just earlier last year you essentially told me to f*** off with the constant insensitive remarks about my being transgender. When I was 13, after I was released from the state hospital, you made plenty of remarks to my mom about how something changed about me, although you couldn’t place what it was. After that, when my oldest sister was applying for university, I was being neglected by my mom. I begged you to become my primary custodian. You told me that there wasn’t any room despite the fact that you had a 4 bedroom house! It was you, your wife, and your 2 daughters. Did your wife really need a second bedroom? The bottom line, then as is now, is that you couldn’t keep your word to save your self. I needed you and you refused to be there. It’s surprising to me that you can be there for anyone. Not to worry though, when I get remarried, my step-dad will be the one walking me down the aisle not you. At this point in my life, you don’t need to worry about me. I made it this far without you and I’ll continue to make it. Your Daughter
